You are God’s intentional design. Like a puzzle piece, your shape matters, your place is prepared, and His picture isn’t complete without you.
Have you ever tried putting together a puzzle? At first, it’s frustrating. You dump hundreds of pieces on the table, and they all look similar: random shapes, jagged edges, scattered colors.
You pick up a piece, turn it around, and try to force it into different spots, but it doesn’t fit anywhere. For a moment, it feels useless, like maybe it doesn’t even belong to the puzzle at all.
But then, after some patience, you find the right spot.
Suddenly, that once-awkward piece locks perfectly into place, and the picture becomes clearer. The piece didn’t need to change shape. It just needed to find its place.
Life can feel a lot like that table full of pieces. You look at others and see how they seem to fit perfectly into their roles, their careers, their communities. Then, you wonder why your edges feel so different.
Maybe you’ve tried to “force yourself” into places, friendships, or roles that just didn’t work. And the temptation is to believe you’re flawed.
But hear this clearly:
Psalm 139:14 says, “I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
You were intentionally crafted. God crafted your gifts, your passions, even your quirks because you have a unique place in God’s bigger picture.
In a puzzle, no one stares at a single piece and says, “Wow, this is beautiful.” It’s only when all the pieces come together that the masterpiece is revealed.
The same is true in God’s Kingdom. Your life, your story, and your role might look small on their own, but they’re essential to the picture He’s building.
1 Corinthians 12:27 says, “Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.”
Paul is reminding us: you belong. You matter. The picture isn’t complete without you.
The world will try to make you believe you need to look, act, or live like someone else to be valuable.
But true belonging isn’t about changing yourself.
True belonging is about discovering where God has already designed you to fit.
So today, stop forcing your life into the wrong places.
Instead, lean into who God made you to be.
Trust that He’s placing you where your shape, your edges, and your colors matter most.
One day, when the whole puzzle is complete, you’ll see how perfectly you were made to fit.
