The Grace of Being Redirected

God never cancels your destination. Even your wrong turns can be rerouted by His grace. Release shame, trust His guidance, and let Him lead you forward again.

You get in your car, type an address into your GPS, and start driving.
You feel confident. You know where you are going.

But then you miss a turn.

Your GPS does not yell at you.
It does not shame you.
It does not say, “How could you get this wrong?”

It simply says, “Rerouting.”

Calm. Steady. Patient.

And no matter how many wrong turns you make, the GPS never cancels the destination.
The route may change, but the goal stays the same.

Listen, and don’t miss this… God is patient with you in the constant rerouts.

God is your Guide, not your critic.

You’ve taken wrong turns. We all have.

And each of those wrong turns comes with regret.

Sometimes the loudest judgment is not from others but from you.

But 1 John 3:20 says, “If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.”

God’s voice is more important than the constant self-doubt ringing in your ears.

God does not judge you for the detours. He meets you inside them.

He does not withdraw His presence. He simply adjusts the route. Patiently, tenderly, he corrects us and has us try again.

Proverbs 3:6 says, “In all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”

Not perfect or mistake-free paths. Just paths that He can redeem.

Be like the GPS. Do not judge yourself.

If your GPS (God) does not scream at you for missing a turn, why do you scream at yourself?

You don’t have to pretend the wrong turn didn’t happen. Just don’t stay stuck.

You can still get to where God is leading you. You are not too late.

God does not cancel your destination; He reroutes you toward it.

As long as you forgive yourself and trust your Guide, the route can always be rewritten.

So today, release the shame. Release the regret. Release the belief that you ruined everything.

Lift your eyes, breathe deep, and whisper the words your heart needs:

“Lord, I trust You to get me there.”

Because the road may look different from what you expected, but the One guiding you has never taken a wrong turn.
