The Courage to Step Into the Trees

Stop waiting for a paved road to appear; faith requires you to step into the trees today. Movement creates the path God has already prepared.

Life often feels like standing at the edge of a dense forest with no visible trail.

You want to reach the other side, but you are waiting for a paved road to appear first.

We tell ourselves we will move once we have the perfect map and a clear view.

But maps are rarely drawn before the scouts actually go into the woods.

Movement creates the path you are looking for.

Faith is not waiting for the forest to clear; it is stepping into the trees.

Happiness does not actually wait for us at the finish line in the distance.
It shows up in the effort of the hike and the rhythm of our breathing.

When we stop moving, we do not just lose time; we lose our sense of color and joy.

Ephesians 2:10 reminds us,
"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."

If the path is already prepared, we do not have to invent it; we just have to walk.

The greatest danger is not taking a wrong turn and getting a little lost.
The real nightmare is standing still until the sun goes down, and you are still in the same spot.

Regret is a much heavier burden to carry than the exhaustion of a long journey.
If you stay where you are for ten more years, that quiet stagnation will eventually break your heart.

Your purpose is found in the stride, not the standing.

You do not need a three-volume manual to begin your journey today.
You just need fifteen minutes and a scrap of paper to sketch a rough direction.

Write down what it would look like if you actually showed up as the person God made.
Do not worry about making the handwriting pretty or the goals sound impressive.

Pick one small thicket you can clear before the lunch hour hits.
Send the one email you have been avoiding, or make the call that feels heavy.

Action is the only thing that builds the confidence you think you are missing.

The trail only reveals itself to those who are willing to start walking.
